I'd also like to take several driving trips around the US, hitting favorite National Parks along the way--Canyons de Chelly, the Tetons, Muir Woods, Acadia, Great Smokies, Zion . . . And travel--I want several more driving trips around the UK--Wales, Scotland, and Ireland as well as England. I want to stay at National Trust properties and drive to local places of interest. And New Zealand . . . .
You put it well, summarizing what I was getting at yesterday. Being respectful.
Hop on over to the Summer Diet Buddies challenge. It still has several more weeks. (there's a link on my sidebar). C'mon in, the water's fine!Tishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01039903741028922963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990977257817044347.post-68156433378874850782010-07-26T19:17:04.834-04:002010-07-26T19:17:04.834-04:00Great job on the goals you met. I try to remember to not make goals that are "not who I am"...sometimes I do and fail at them too :)

My bucket list....hmmm....I would love to go to Norway someday. My Papa was Norwegian and we still have some family there...though they are super duper elderly.

My grandmother loves that I have a blond headed blue eyed son who could pass for a Norwegian. I've got the blue eyes....the hair needs a little assistance to remain blond :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990977257817044347.post-32250387374695538592010-07-26T18:10:08.364-04:002010-07-26T18:10:08.364-04:00Great job!!! Like the cooking goal, some things just look better in print and fantasy, than in real life. Wisdom sees that and deals accordingly. :) I am so glad that your first challenge has been a success! One more week--feel free to add a goal if you want, or not!

Re: respectful writing. It's true. Although I mentioned in my comment that I think bloggers need to write from their heart, staying true to themselves rather than pandering to an audience, it is also true that there is no need to use that as an excuse for being purposely hurtful.

Offense will happen when you speak your truth, sometimes, butp urposefully shredding hearts is not necessary. I can't imagine that you would do that.

DebAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990977257817044347.post-55464367800273374302010-07-26T17:05:39.168-04:002010-07-26T17:05:39.168-04:00Hi Sharon ~ LOVE your bit of wisdom today, Lookin...Hi Sharon ~ LOVE your bit of wisdom today, Looking in a different direction indeed!

My bucket list has big and small items on it.
