This journal has begun, in part, because the list of friends who've asked if we blog about our travels has grown too large to continue the simple email updates I've sent in the past. I've also realized that an organized journal is a better way to keep records for our own enjoyment than the filing cabinet full of manilla folders in our study! So this first entry is simply a reminder to us of the things we've done in 2011. The second entry will list our travel goals and locations of our Summer Adventures over the last decade. From that point on, we'll be current.
Late December, Early January - Christmas/New Year's in Venice, Florida
February - Weekend trip to Atlanta, Georgia to visit REI and Dekalb County Farmer's Market
Late February - Weekend trip to Maggie Valley, North Carolina for hiking
Early March - Weekend trip to Maggie Valley, North Carolina for hiking
Early April - Weekend trip to Asheville, North Carolina to see tulips at Biltmore Estate
May/June - Summer Trip to Colorado
